Great point, Nathan. I completely agree with you.
It’s an easy trap to fall into and try to address many customer segments simultaneously because of market or competitive pressures. But without hitting the mark on one segment and building reference customers, it’s very difficult to expand into other segments.
The Now, Next and Later approach lets you prioritize which segment you focus on first while having a shared team goal of additional segments you want to expand to in the future.
